Invoice Connection was founded by software and web services industry experts. Our charter calls for the continual development of advanced invoice, bill and statement delivery systems. Our goal is to provide the highest level of customer service while providing 100% delivery accuracy. The following is a description of our Management Team:
Earl B. Beutler, Chairman: Mr Beutler is a co-founder of Invoice Connection and services as Chairmain. His duties include consulting on strategic planning, product development, marketing, and public relations. Prior to this position at Invoice Connection, Mr. Beutler was a founder and served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Research Information Systems, Inc. risinc.com, an "INC 500 company", until it was acquired by the Thomson Corporation in 1994. Research Information Systems, Inc. developed software and information services for the scientific community, and pioneered the use of the Internet for information delivery as early as 1993. Mr. Beutler also founded Construction Computer Consultants, an early developer of construction software, which was acquired by I2 Corporation in 1981, where he served as Manager of the Software Division. Mr. Beutler is also a founder and serves as Chairman of Pinnacle Infotainment Corporation progame.com, an information provider for the video game industry, as well as for Scalex Corporation scalex.com, a manufacturer is computerized measuring devices for the construction industry. Mr. Beutler holds a B.A. in Biology from the University of California, San Diego, and an M.S. in MIS from the University of California, San Francisco.
Colleen Stempien, President: Prior to joining Invoice Connection, Ms. Stempien was co-founder and President of RefWorks, a web-based, data management tool sold in the university, government and corporate markets. In 2000, she was also co-founder and President of Material Express, a developer of products and services for electrical and plumbing distributors. She also held the position of General Manager at Research Information Systems, a developer of software and information products for the medical research market. She has a BA degree in Business from Michigan State University.
Steve Maybo, Chief Operations Officer: With over 20 years of experience in IT and operations management, Mr. Maybo was Director of Operations at Research Information Systems (now owned by Thomson-Reuters) as well as Director of Information Technologies at RefWorks (now owned by ProQuest). He has a B.S. in Applied Mathematics – Scientific Programming from the University of California, San Diego.
Kiptyn Locke, Vice President Distributor Products : Prior to joining Invoice Connection Mr. Locke served as Vice President of Scalex Corporation for 5 years. Mr. Locke has a proven record helping individuals and businesses achieve their professional goals. As Vice President of Distributor Product Sales for Material Express Mr. Locke manages the sales and marketing staff while managing our strategic industry partner relationships.
